What is the best way to create squeeze pages for Keap / Infusionsoft?

What is the best way to create squeeze pages to use with Keap / Infusionsoft is a question that frequently comes up with clients.

Here are 4 ways, with the pros and cons for each.

1/ Do it yourself. Either you or your web guy can code the pages as and when required and incorporate the Keap / Infusionsoft form in the page. The advantages are that you can have the page look exactly as you want. The disadvantages are that it is time-consuming (costly) to create and then replicate pages if needed.

2/ Keap / Infusionsoft itself. If you did not already know you can create squeeze pages for Keap / Infusionsoft right within the campaign builder. In campaign builder just select the landing page goal and then a bit of simple customisation and you are done.
The advantages – no additional cost, quick, simple to customise, self-contained and easy to manage as part of the Keap / Infusionsoft campaign. Disadvantages – pages hosted at Keap / Infusionsoft.com, not on your domain. The page format is rather “blocky” and dated, not modern styling as you will find in third-party systems.

3/ Third party systems – Lead Pages and OptimsePress. If you follow any of the marketing gurus then they all seem to recommend “Lead Pages” and “Optimise Press”. Both of these I have tried with clients. Advantages – templates ideal for anyone starting out, quick, easy, modern-looking style, can be hosted on your domain. Disadvantages cost (around £500 a year), can be difficult to get your branding to fit right, can be inflexible i.e. only capture first name and email address. So unless you have simple requirements you can quickly outgrow these systems.

4/ Third party system – Squeeze Page Tool Kit. This is so far is the best and most useful solution that I have found. Advantages – the template can be customised more than the other systems I have seen – you can rearrange the page, add and take away elements, have count down timers, Facebook comments, testimonials etc. Integrates great with Keap / Infusionsoft. You can use the hosted form version, or host it on your own domain via a free WordPress plug- in if you use WordPress which makes it easy to manage multiple squeeze pages. And if you have still not converted to WordPress (there must still be some that have not “seen the light”!) you can even export the HTML and embed it on a non WordPress site. You can create Facebook tabs and publish squeeze pages on Facebook at the click of a mouse. It has a range of pop-ups you can add to your site to capture more prospects.

The disadvantages. Like other third-party systems you are never going to be able to get the page exactly how you want, the only way would be to custom code by hand, BUT I think this is the next best solution for most internet marketers. It is not free. The Standard edition comes in at £250 a year (more on that below) which is lower cost than other third party systems that gurus recommend.

So from my experience of creating and managing squeeze pages for Keap / Infusionsoft I would say that option 4 is the best. But why take my word for it? Dan Harrison at Squeeze Page Tool kit will give you a 30 day free trial, take it for a spin and try yourself that’s how I saw that this was the best system for me – or I am happy to give you a short live demo as to what I have set up so far, just give me call. Good luck with your squeeze pages
